Professional Statement

‘Education is not received. It is achieved’. Albert Einstein.

My purpose is to create spaces and learning opportunities where adult students can be expressive, creative, and explore themselves as they journey through their lifelong learning. I intend to weave my social work practice together with education as a holistic practitioner with a person-centred approach, embracing students who have social or structural barriers to learning.

Working alongside adult learners to offer them a new and transformative perspective and insight into their capacity and ability for learning, accomplishment and growth, achieved with respect to the adult learner’s individual context, pace and experiences.
